Brafer was awarded to manufacture and assemble the structures for the Shopping Estação in Curitiba, Parana State. Totalling 1,750 tons, the structures implemented were the Convention Center, 5 parking floors and a helipad.

The structures were manufactured on trusses, with a span of 64 meters and 14 meters high, supporting the 5 reinforced concrete slab floors, moulded over the steel deck. The Convention Center roof was supported by scissor trusses with 47 meters spans, designed to support air conditioning equipment.

As this is work was located in the center of Curitiba, cranes were not used for hoisting the scissors trusses, instead, they were hoisted in parts with the help of tower cranes as the use of such equipment did not interrupt the normal flow in the City’s main access routes.
