Brafer was commissioned by Vale to manufacture and assemble 19 highway viaducts over the more than 900 km railway connecting the Carajas Refinery, Para State to the Sao Luis Port, Maranhão State.

The total supply for this construction work is approximately 1,200 tons, which are divided between the 19 viaducts. From these viaducts, 18 are manufactured using COR-300 steel and 1 was manufactured with COR-350 steel.

The structures were pre-assembled with bolted connections and hoisted in sets of beams using cranes with capacities ranging from 220 to 500 tons.
