Brafer provided 2,500 tons of structures for the Petrobras Research and Development Center, through the CITI Consortium. In that project, located in the Island of Fundão-RJ, the multi-story CIPD building (Data Processing Center) was erected in steel structures, using steel deck with fire protection.

Furthermore, the compound was erected on a short time, a typical feature of steel structure buildings.
