Brafer was contracted by the Finnish company Metsä Fibre, the former Metsa-Botnia, to participate in the largest private investment in Uruguay.

Located on the banks of the Uruguay River, in Fray Bentos, Brafer supplied and assembled 5,000 tons for the Pipe-rack, Pulp Storage building, Harbour Shelter, Office Building, Main Gate Canopies, Turbine Platforms, Lighting Poles and Stairway Towers.
