Brafer was awarded to manufacture and assemble the RPM structures, located in Paracatu, Minas Gerais.

In total, there were 4,500 tons of steel structures divided between the Milling and Crushing buildings and the Storage Yard.

The Storage Yard has a 70-meter wide opening and is 48 meters high, forming an inverted “V” roof, with a total of six a-frames with space frame trusses to cover the area.

The Silo cover assembly started with the pre-assembly of two big parts, simultaneously hoisted to be joined at the top with the aid of two cranes, one with a capacity of 300 tons and the other of 500 tons.
