Brafer offers a hot-dip galvanizing process with the most advanced technology available on the market in a 2000-meter² industrial plant.

The main purpose of hot-dip galvanizing is to provide adequate corrosion protection to the base metal. Our production capacity is of 1700 tons per month, and it is possible to galvanize parts of up to 12 feet in length, with a height of 0.5m and a weight of 4 tons.

After undergoing a process of preparation that consists of 11 treatment tanks, the part is immersed in a vat containing molten zinc at 460 ºC, measuring 9m in length x 1.5m in depth x 1m in width.

Additionally, we have 4 Metco metallization guns for finishings, a weighbridge with capacity of 80 tons and two suspension scales used in the tracking of production. Our test lab measures the resistance of the hot-dip galvanization over steel under the most different environmental conditions.

Brafer’s hot-dip galvanization services are assessed in accordance with the ABNT (Brazilian Association for Technical Standards) conditions and standards.
