In addition to the ISO 9001 Quality Standard, the IMS includes the ISO 14001 Environmental Standard and the OHSAS 18001 Health and Safety Standard. This means that the Brafer’s clients can be sure of receiving structures of proven quality, made by employees who work safely at all stages of an environmentally friendly process.

Brafer’s policy for the Integrated Management System guides the actions and concerns of all departments in relation to best practice and the processes of Quality, Environment, Health and Safety – meeting the standards of the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 systems. As well as portraying Brafer’s concern for meeting government and global certifications, regulations, it is also a guideline for the company’s programs and drives its relations with our employees, customers, suppliers and the community.

As a manufacturer and assembler of steel structures, in its industrial units and construction sites Brafer Construções Metálicas adopts the following integrated management policy:

- To promote the continuous improvement of quality and productivity in the processes, products, services and the integrated management system, seeking to provide to the market with competitive and technologically advanced solutions, striving for customer satisfaction and meeting the targets set by managers;

- To comply with existing legislation that is applicable to the activities of the company, and with the signed contractual commitments and internal policies;

- To ensure the health and safety of its employees, contractors and visitors, through the prevention and mitigation of risks in the workplace;

- To prevent, within its sphere of influence, any environmental pollution and the degradation of the environment, through the management of processes and environmental impacts related to its activities.
